Time is also a gift of grace. It is amazing because we are given opportunity to live, experience joy, pain, etc., but also to make mistakes and to even sometimes change our ways. If it weren't for time, we wouldn't get to experience change and come to see that we aren't just defined by our past actions. So time is an expression of grace because through it we are not just defined by our past--through time we see we are more than robots, that we are human and that we can change.
